How is online therapy conducted?
Either by email or live chat, whichever format you are more comfortable
with.
Do the therapists work for My Online Therapy?
No. The therapists who work for My Online Therapy are independent contractors.
What if I don’t like my therapist? Can I change therapists?
Of course. It would be best if you could discuss any concerns you have
with your therapist directly, but you can always contact My Online Therapy
at info@myonlinetherapy.com
and we will arrange for you to work with another therapist.
May I choose which therapist I wish to work with?
Of course. If you know which of our therapists with whom you wish to
work there is a space to specify that on the intake questionnaire.
What if I have to cancel an appointment for chat?
You must cancel an appointment 24 hours before the scheduled chat in
order to not be charged for the chat.
What if I wish to terminate therapy?
We ask that you notify the therapist with whom you have been working
and notify My Online Therapy at
info@myonlinetherapy.com in order that we may arrange a refund for
any services for which you have paid and not utilized.
